She was predeceased by: her parents, Erma Owens and Harvey Dawkins; and her siblings, Larry Christian, Sammy Bush, Lamar Dawkins and Harriet.
She is survived by: her son Cory Dawkins; her grandchildren, MaCorian and Cory Dawkins, Jr.; her great grandchild Harlym Miller; her siblings, George Sanders, Ray Sanders, Verdean Watkins, Vickey Sanders and Marylyn Sanders; and her close friend Freddy Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Funeral Home (1601 Redmon Rd, Longview, TX 75602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Jordan Valley Memorial Park (713 Jordan Valley Rd, Longview, TX 75604).
