He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Joe and Margaret Jones Lewis; and his brother William Joe Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Della Lewis; his children, Scott Lewis (Amber) and Kristi Hunt (Jason); his grandchildren, Audry Lewis, Jack Hunt and Lauren Hunt; his siblings, Benny Ray Lewis (Linda) and Margaret Chiquita Musgrave (Duane); and his sister-in-law Sylvia Lewis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Enon Cemetery (3074 FM556, Gilmer, TX 75644).
