He is survived by: his wife Marta Havner of Longview; his sister Patsy Farmer (Jackie) of Shallowater, Texas.; and his children, Tammy Willeford (Chuck) of Diana, Gene Orr (Laura) of Colleyville, Yvonne George of Roanoke, Jerry Tex Havner Jr. (Shannon) of Belfair and Sherry Hester of Galveston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home (4619 Judson Rd, Longview, TX 75605). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
