James Duke Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duke and Helen Duke Callison; and his brother John Duke II. He is survived by: his wife Connie Duke; his stepsister Beverly Callison; his children, Shonnie Stapp (Steve), Toni Byrge (Mike) and Jim Duke Jr.; his grandchildren, Grant Little (Lexi), Ashley Roberts (Andrew), Daulton Duke, Hunter Leatherman (Paige), Kirk Little (Sian), Bree Hickman (Carson), Jillian Johnson (Brennon), Janie Lynn Byrge and Jenni Byrge; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Hills Baptist Church (2105 E Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605).

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made in Jim's name to the Animal Rescue of Crosby County (ARCC), PO Box 561, Crosbyton, Texas 79322.
