He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Phillip and Erna Marie Willham Saunders; his close friend Susan Furlong Fletcher; and his siblings, Red Elliott Saunders and Sandra Saunders.
He is survived by: his children, Victor Saunders (Amanda) of Carthage, Gina Allen (Chris) of Navasota, Jeff Saunders (Michelle) of San Antonio, Jeremy Furlong of Waxahachie, Nicole Ayers (Josh) of Gary and Shayna Furlong of Gary; his grandchildren, Jana, Harley, Justin, Jessica, Ashley, Katie, Makayla, Eryka, Jeremy Jr. and Caitlynn; and his great grandchildren, Cohutta, Calhoun, Layla, Dustin, Riley, Braylan, Peyton and Burkeley.
