Though Cecil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cecil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Mendoza and Antonia Mendoza; and his brothers, Juan and Joe L. Mendoza. He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Mendoza, Mickey Cervantes (Jesse Cervantes), Julie Mendoza, Janie Mitchell and Hope Mendoza; and also Cecil. He is also survived by the numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (508 N Sixth St, Longview, TX 75601).
