He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Adams and Jack Adams; his wife Norma Lee Howell; and his siblings, Doyle Adams, Casodrey Williams and Elsie Ruth Whitaker.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Adams (Lisa) of Tyler and Julie Adams (Luz) of Longview, Texas.; his grandchildren, Brian Adams (Mandi) of Tyler, Texas. and Allison Adams Gay (Art) of Tyler, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Jacob Adams of Tyler, Trent Adams of Las Colinas and Ellie Adams of Tyler, Texas.; and his sister Margie Adams Hargis of Longview. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Restland Memorial Park (2107 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633).
