She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hearn and Dorothy Hearn (Moore); and her son Shawn Allen Hamilton. She is survived by: her siblings, Thurman Sidney Hearn of Austin, Donna Specht of Quitman, Paula Burgi of Crowley, Faye Hall of Colleyville and Gay Mazey of Youngstown, FL.; and her grandson Christopher Hamilton.
