It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alene Davis in Longview, Texas, born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her siblings, Arden Bredemeier and Elane Burkhalter. She is survived by: her children, Carmela Davis (Mark Adkisson) and Mike Davis (Michelle); her grandchildren, Kyle Adkisson, Brooke Davis Granados (Jose), Stephan Tarpley (Abigail), Kent Adkisson, Adrian Tarpley, Tyler Davis (Mary Page), Mary Margaret Adkisson, Trevon Goodman (Madison), Kenton Goodman, Hillary Coulliette, Skyler Coulliette and Laine Coulliette; her great grandchildren, Ava, Avery Adkisson, Piper, Myla Adkisson, Lyla Tarpley, Mason Goodman, Hayes, Wren, Mac Davis, Kaylee, Everett Granados, Heidi Coulliette and Jaslyn Wilson; her brother Edgar Bredemeier (Carolyn) of Stella; and her sister-in-law Jan Bredemeier of DuBois, Nebraska..

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the DuBois Community Building.
