It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Gail Simons of Long Branch, Texas, born in Crowville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Jenkins and Essie James Jenkins; her husband Rev. Thomas G. Simons; and her siblings, Hersey Jenkins, Cyrina Underwood, Ollie Janway, Rogers Jenkins, Elmer Jenkins, Clinton Jenkins and Lindsey Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Malcolm Simons (Suzanne) of Rockwall and Ramona Thompson (Wayne) of Long Branch; her grandchildren, Geni Gill, Ranota, Brandon Carroll, Miranda, Tim Irby, Jerry Thames, Mendy, Charlie Wiltshire, Savanah, Brian Wood, Ashton Simons, Troy Dureault, Nicole Dureault, Aimee Dureault and Lillian Simons; her child Thirteen; and her sister-in-law Patsy Allen. She is also survived by Thirteen great grandchildren.
