She was predeceased by: her father Billy Jack Hathcock; and her siblings, Ethel Jane Martinez, James Martin Green and Jerry Green. She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Carter; her children, Christopher Casey Purgason, Sara Diane Herrera, Janie Nicole Carter and Amie Lorene Carter; and her sisters, Emma Jane Miller, Ruby Pearl Helton, Carolyn Faye Zapata and Linda Le Sanders. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
