The memory of Royce Hunter of Lone Star, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Hunter and Glenn Hunter; his son Ronald Glenn Hunter; his sister Mary Joyce Brunson; and his son-in-law Jack Kendrick.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown; his sister Loyce Ray; his daughters, Suzanne Ford (Bruce) of Atlanta and Lorri Kendrick of Fredericksburg; his daughter-in-law Pam Hunter (Rod Newman) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Eli Hunter, Alexander Ford (Molly), Nick Ford (Sarah), Johanna Cook (Reed) and Claire Kendrick.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hill Country Church (107 E Lower Crabapple Rd, Fredericksburg, TX 78624).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Royce and Barbara Hunter Scholarship Fund at Lubbock Christian University, or to the Good Samaritan Center of Fredericksburg, Texas.
