He was predeceased by: his parents, Themis Irene Sandhaus Gery and Leland Eugene Gery, Sr.; his stepmother Mary Ann Kronenbitter; and his half-brother Joseph Jay Vrabel. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Russell Gery (Elizabeth), Kristin Fries (Werner) and Jonathan Gery (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cody Craine (Camille), Justin Gery (Chanelle), Lindy Craine, Madeline Luna (Daniel), Shelby Qawari (Sameer), Savannah Gery, Eva Fries, Ty Gery and Lucy Fries; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Bramlett, Windsor Bramlett, Sawyer Gery and Ranger Luna.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Methodist Mansfield Church (777 N Walnut Creek Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063).
