With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Stewart McQuiddy of Lone Star, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joan Stewart farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan Stewart is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Craig Robertson McQuiddy, Jr. and Collin Stewart McQuiddy; her grandchildren, Hannah Grace McQuiddy and Parker Austin McQuiddy; her brother William R Stewart; her close friend Molly; and her mother Joan S. McQuiddy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's (15208 LA-73, Prairieville, LA 70769). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
