We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2019, at the age of 91, Iris Harte (Lone Star, Texas), born in Panama City, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Howard and Ellen Manning Howard; her husband Forrest David Harte; her son Joel Travis Harte; her son-in-law Jerry Lynn Coker; her siblings, Calvin Howard, Ernest Howard, Glen Howard (Mazie), Eva and Marie McCaully (Joe); and her brother-in-law Kenneth Day.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Harte Coker of Lone Star and Michael David Harte of Jenkins, Texas; her sister Myrna Day of Homestead, Florida; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Coker Burnett (Allen) of Winnsboro, Amanda Coker White (Jeremy) of Cleburne and Ryan David Harte (Jensie) of Jenkins; and her great grandchildren, Justin Allen Burnett, Georgia Lynne Burnett and Forrest Emery Harte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
