Ethel Rankin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 77, Ethel Rankin of Lone Star, Texas, born in Bonham, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ethel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ethel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Benson Howell and Margaret May Alexander Howell; her son Robert Benson Worley; and her brothers, Dennis Howell and Lynn Howell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Howell and Glenda Amox; her brother-in-law Clint; her nephews, Preston Amox, Clinton Holmes and Brandon Howell; her great-nephew Erik Paul Holmes, Jr.; and her great-niece Mandy Taylor Holmes.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Harris Chapel Cemetery (11 S Pecan, Hughes Springs, TX 75656).
