He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Montgomery; his children, Dennis Montgomery, Jr., Meshia Montgomery-Boyd (Christopher), Quiana Montgomery, Jerwayne Montgomery, Eboni Arps-Montgomery, Sherica Armwood, Enekica Bruce and Dansby Hart; his father Laverne Montgomery; his siblings, Melvin Montgomery (Red), Wayne Montgomery, Anthony Montgomery (Shirley), Vincent D. Montgomery (Angie), Gregory Montgomery (Tweeny), Vanessa Montgomery-Foreman (Patrick), Cherri Montgomery and Kenisha Jackson; and his close friend Jennifer Jefferson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
