He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Patnoe and Lois Patnoe; and his siblings, Eloise and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Fronna West; his sister Patricia Bechtold (Virgil); his children, Chris Lee and Greg Lee (Karen); his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Greyson; his child Micah WIlliams (Josh); his great grandchildren, James Simpson (Rebekah) and Tobias; and his children, Sevrin Franzen, Burgandie Rabe, Lindlie Rabe and Dakotah Nelson. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
