She was predeceased by: her parents, Tandy McDaniel and Laura McDaniel; her husband Vernice E. Duke; her son David "Eddie" Duke; and her siblings, Joel, David, Norbrate and Claudine.
She is survived by: her sons, James M. Duke (Charlette) of Lone Star and Steven Ray Duke of Sulphur Springs; and her daughter-in-law Paula Duke of Dallas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
