She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosendo Balboa and Angelita Anzaldua (Barrera); and her father-in-law Raymond Kulhanek. She is survived by: her husband Gene Kulhanek; her children, Angela Solis (Javier) of Ellinger and Colby Kulhanek (Cassie) of Lone Oak; her grandchildren, Seth, Wesley, Lane, Shane, Alexis, Isaiah and Gabriel; her siblings, Mary Jane Luevanos (Rito) of Richmond and Rafael Anzaldua, Jr. of Orchard; and her uncle Beto Barrera of Mission. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
