He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathryn Butler; and his siblings, Thomas Clinton, James Harold and Mary Dell Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Billie Kathryn Lancaster; his sister Betty Ruth Bills; and his children, Charles Robert Butler, Jr. (Pam), Debora Terry (Tom) of Lampasas and Belinda Gillum (Stanley) of LaGrange. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
