It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Dean of Lometa, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonner Badger and Maggie Badger; her husband Bunt Dean; her son Mike Dean; her sisters, Cora Bell Ferguson, Wanda Whitley, Lorene Underwood, Merle Davis and Laverne Maxwell; and her granddaughter Kim Stockman (Dean).
She is survived by: her sister Jean Chapman of Austin, TX; her daughter-in-law Nancy Dean of Lampasas; her grandchildren, Chris Dean of Lampasas, Joely Palmer of Lampasas and Ricky Dean (Carol) of Brenham, TX; her great grandchildren, Ashley Stockman, Brayden Dean, Makenzie Dean, Nicholas Palmer (Torie), Jaci Palmer, Kendall Dean and Karleigh Dean; and her great great grandchild Hazel Kate Palmer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
