With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha E. Gilbert of Lometa, Texas, born in Merkel, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaither Isenburg and Eunice Isenburg (Beard); and her children, Ronnie Gilbert and Karen Taylor. She is survived by: her daughter Ginger Currier (Mike) of Abilene; her sister Jodie Hobbs of Lometa; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Gilbert Brooks of Canton; and her grandchildren, Justin Dunlap (Kari), Crystal Hawkey (Tye), LaDonya Gray, Brandy Pearson, Tonie Farmer, Kim Williams (Tim), Delmer Armentrout (Becca), Jody Armentrout (Jennifer), Marcus Armentrout, Cody Taylor, Misty Maldonado (Mario) and Bodie Gilbert (Mark). She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
