He is survived by: his former wife Debra Bartley; his children, Guadalupe Wallace (Charles Wallace), Rosario Vela Jr., Isabel Fisher, Guillermo Vela and Victoria Swails (James Swails); his siblings, Willie Vela and Julia Royer; and his grandchildren, Audrie, Gloria Wallace, Gabriel Vela, Brianna, RJ Smith, Maria Yelton, Alivia, Alycia, Miguel Vela and Beau Swails. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
