She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Frank Carthel and Irene Harrison Carthel; her husband Carl; her daughter Judy Diane Stanley; her granddaughter Brandy Lynn Marley; her siblings, Royce Carthel and Billie Howard of Plainview; and her sons, Terry Turner (Zahn) of The Colony and Tracy Turner (Laura) of Floydada. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
