With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose Luis Martinez Sr. of Lockney, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arculano Martinez (Cano) and Isabel Martinez; his brothers, Martin and Sammy Martinez; and his father-in-law Macario Agustine Orozpe.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Orozpe Martinez; his sons, Joe (Laura) of Bulverde and Marcus (Lois Price) of San Antonio; his grandsons, Hayes Rio and Judson Llano; his siblings, Rosa Morquecho (Ernesto) of Mason, Irene Gutierrez (Joe) of Mason, Danny (Becky) of Mason, Martha Lopez (Michael) of San Angelo, Chappo of Mason and Amelia Pena (Tony) of San Angelo; his mother-in-law Amanda Orozpe of Mason; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Farias of Ft. Worth, Salvador Orozpe (Sandra) of San Antonio, Veronica Hausenfluke (Keith) of Ft. Worth, Angelica Mancillas of Ft. Worth and Irma Ceynowa (Hank) of San Marcos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers: Hayes Rio Martinez, Judson Llano Martinez, Homer Sanchez, John Palacio, Cody Farmer, Miguel Arteaga, Donald Schulze, Scott Zesch, Charlie Hoerster, Randy Stockbridge, Face masks and social distancing will be required for all services.
