He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Oliver Davis and Fannie McWhorter; his wife Dovie; and his siblings, Edward Davis, Kenton Davis and Kathryn Foraker Smith.
He is survived by: his brothers, Thurman and Loy; his children, Randy Scott Davis (Heather Peck), Joey Todd Davis (Shanon Wilks) and Julie Diann May (Rodney); his grandchildren, Gregory, Wes, Jake, Kray, Holt Davis, Levi and Emily Weckar; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Gemma, Mason Davis, Braxton, Beckham Weckar, Tyrese, Ella Lankford and Mav Pettigrew.
