He was predeceased by: his son William Paul Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Elsa Salazar Cooper of Lockney; his children, Kathy McDonough (Kevin), Lisa Hudson (John) and Barton Cooper (Joan); his grandchildren, Karen McSpadden, Alan Hudson, Sean McMahon, Bryan Cooper, Daniel Mendoza, David Mendoza, Michael Tejeda and Alyssa Tejeda; his sister Ann McCormick; and also, Janet Wells, Cindy Mendoza (Abel), Noe Tejeda (Felicia) and Tommy Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
