He was predeceased by: his parents, J. M. Brown and Lee Brown; his wife Wilma Holcomb Brown; his son-in-law Bill Race; and his siblings, Marvin and Modelle.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Brown Race of Lockney; his grandsons, Karl Race (Sharon) of Levelland and Randy Race (Robin) of Lockney; his great grandchildren, Matthew Race (Heather), Rayann Ragland (Maison), Danae Race and Ryder Race; and his great great grandchild Rachel Race.
