We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020, at the age of 92, Charlie Marie Whitacre in Lockney, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Casey and Dena Casey; her husband Charles Jerry Whitacre, Sr.; and her daughter Jimmie Kathleen Whitacre. She is survived by: her children, Chuck Whitacre (Eileen) of Salado and Lee Naron (Wes) of Round Rock, Texas; her grandchildren, Kyle Whitacre (Helen) of North Hollywood, Nicole Hehli of Salado, Adam Naron (Torrie) of Prosper, Rachel Ecker (Kellen) of Cedar Park, Katie Chaney (Rhett) of Leander and Jacob Naron (Skylar) of Austin, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Finn Whitacre, Link Whitacre, Julia Hehli, Kennedy Naron, Davis Naron, Rowen Ecker, Lark Ecker, Rhylee Chaney, Laiken Chaney and Tate Chaney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Plainview or a charity of choice.
