She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cap Carthel and Irene Harrison Carthel; her spouse Harley Howard; her children, Bill Howard of Lubbock and Linda Marr of Plainview; her children-in-law, Gail Howard of Plainview and Gary Marr of Plainview; her grandchildren, Heather (Kryl Boedeker), Coby (Kelli Marr), Brady (Jackie Marr) and Alicia Howard Shaw of Frisco; her great grandchildren, Brystol Boedeker, Kingston Marr, Corbin Marr, Blakely Marr and Adisyn Shaw; and her brother Royce Carthel (Foncine). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
