She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Hare and Ruth Hare; her husband Duane Pfluger; her daughters, Robin Chapman and Jessica Gardner (Alex Gardner); her grandchildren, Ariel Mojica (Vann Cates) and Joe Mojica III; her siblings, Michael Hare, Nancy Chavez, Bonnie Torres, Gina Mora and Deloris Martinez; her aunt Janet Gallegos; and her uncle Harold Young (Pauline Young).

The family accepts flowers or donations in her memory, which can be made to Martindale Baptist Church or the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
