With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Castillo Moreno in Lockhart, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Valdo Castillo Sr. and Cruz Deleon Castillo; her siblings, Ernestina Arredondo and Angel Castillo; her grandson Jonathan Thomas; and the father of her children Juan B. Moreno.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Moreno Bernal (Robert Bernal); her grandson Robert John Bernal of Lockhart; her son Johnny Moreno (Linda Moreno) of Seguin; her great grandchild Thomas; and her siblings, Celia Arredondo, Maria Moreno, Josephine Ramirez and Valdo Castillo Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
