It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Kelly Kubala (Lockhart, Texas), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Kubala; and his grandparents, Ben, Emma Labay, Fred and Florence Kubala.
He is survived by: his mother Jo Ann Labay; his sister Shannon Kyrie Kubala; his children, Carelyn Haidusek Nisus (Max) and Waylon Sage Kubala; and his aunt Linda Labay. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:20 PM at the Eeds Funeral Home (408 S Main St, Lockhart, TX 78644). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, mourners might consider a donation to Shawn's funeral fund via forms that will be available before the funeral or a donation in Shawn's honor to the Aspca or their local animal shelter.
