He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rodriguez and Ysabel Luna; and his siblings, Petra Escobedo, Luis Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez.

He is survived by: his wife Santiaga Rodriguez; and his children, Felix Rodriguez, Severo A. Rodriguez Jr. (Rosa), Maria Facundo (Raymond), Lisa Rodriguez, Sylvia Rodriguez, Margaret Rodriguez (Sixto) and Brenda Tienda (Chris). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
