Ortiz and Pedro Hernandez; his aunt Ninfa Ortiz Yanez; his children, Petra Maria Ortiz, Lenny Martinez (Letty) of Lockhart, Samuel J. Ortiz (Christina) of Lockhart, Sergio Ortiz (Adrianne) of Lockhart and Isaias Ortiz of Lockhart; his grandchildren, Jean P. Martinez of San Antonio, Kimberly A. Martinez of Lockhart, Ally L. Martinez of Lockhart, Emma S. Ortiz of Lockhart, Wanderlei A. Ortiz and Ariela A. Ortiz of New Braunfels; and his siblings, Loida Ortiz, Elias Ortiz Jr. (Janie), Robert Ortiz, Rosa Ortiz, Connie Ortiz, Dora Ortiz Lopez, Margarito Ortiz (Sandra) and Elisa Ortiz Olmos (Henry). He was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
