He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Y. Valdez, Sr.; and his grandparents, Benancio and Rosa Gutierrez. He is survived by: his mother Anita Gutierrez Valdez; his siblings, Rita Valdez (Michael), Gilbert Valdez, Jr. (Marie), Ronnie Valdez (Eunice) and Gabriel Valdez (Veronica); and his nieces and nephews, Gilbert-Joe, Saniya, Noah, Briana, Randon, Kimberley, Brian, Kelsey, Samuel, Jon, Leticia and Adrian. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
