She was predeceased by: her husband Lavern Blackwell, Sr.; her siblings, Benny Johnson and Dorothy Mae Jones; her children, Alisa Blackwell and Charles Bradford; her great grandchild Diamone Wilson; and her son-in-law Douglas Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Wilson, Debra (Xavier Bowser), Lavern Blackwell, Jr., Vinson Blackwell (Kiesha) and Timothy Blackwell; and her nieces and nephews, Melinda Fearance, Beverly Turner, Karen Jones and Lorance Jones, Jr.. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren; four Great, great Grandchildren.
