She was predeceased by: her parents, Mauricio Ortiz and Paula Ortiz (Trejo); and her brother Rudy Trejo. She is survived by: her son Steven; and her siblings, Hilda Trejo, Berta Trejo, Alice Garza and Mauricio Ortiz Jr.. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and a nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to please make donations to St. Mary's Church in Lockhart, TX.
