She was predeceased by: her husband James Reeder; her daughter Pamela Galbreath; her brothers, J. C. Nix and Ralph Nix; and her parents, Ottis Nix and Josephine Nix.
She is survived by: her children, James Reeder Jr. (Susan) and Debbie Vogel (Bobby); her brothers, Wayne Nix of Birmingham, AL and John Nix of Bowling Green, KY; her grandchildren, Tiffany Alverson (John), Jamie Darity (Tommy), Carla Olivarez (Cesar), Donald Pannell, Krissy Rhodes (Dale), Michelle Sanchez, James Clarence Vogel and Colton Vogel (LeAndra); and her great grandchildren, Tanner, Teagan, Peyton of Blakely, T. W., Easton, Cameron, Adrian, Kylie, Aiden, Alli, Andrew, Ali and Baby Vogel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCurdy Funeral Home (105 E Pecan St, Lockhart, TX 78644). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to First Lockhart Baptist Church, where Margaret was a beloved member.
