It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Chamness of Lockhart, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Louis Mohle Jr.; her father-in-law Michael Orren Chamness Sr.; and her pet Minnie Mouse. She is survived by: her husband Mike Chamess of Lockhart; her daughters, Kalyn Chamness of Saucier, Jacey Chamness of Lockhart and Ashlyn Robinson (Jason) of Lockhart; her mother Nell Mohle of Lockhart; her mother-in-law Betty Chamness of Seguin; her brothers, Terry Mohle (Korrina) of Meadow Lakes and Clint Mohle (Julie) of Lockhart; her pets, Bear, Freckles, Fuzz, Benn, Alex, Ty and Coco; and her adoptive parent Jesse Louis Mohle, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, the family will hold a private funeral service on January 5, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Christian Church of Lockhart (202 W San Antonio St; Lockhart, TX 78644) in her memory.
