He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L. Brawley Sr. and Zelma Idella Kelley Brawley; and his sister Sandra Ellison (Brawley). He is survived by: his daughter LaToya Brawley; his siblings, Sharon Wilson (Clemon), Margie Franks (Marcus), Marilyn Brawley, Barbara Jackson (Lester) and Harold Brawley; his nieces and nephews, Kashunya Wilson, Kimberly Shepard, Atoya Brawley, Desirée Franks, Denay Franks, Leslie Jackson, Kelvin Wilson and DeMarcus Franks; and his friend Homer Shaw. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
