He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Duran and Consuelo Duran; his son Gilberto Duran; his great grandchild Bryson Eliseo Jesus DeLeon; and his siblings, Samuel Duran and Ruth Delgado.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Yañez Duran; his children, Leandro (Azucena), Jesse, Graciela (Benito) and Lucinda (Jaime); and his siblings, Dora Barboza, Olga Barboza (Rafael), Sylvia Roberts (Richard), Julian Duron (Dora), Oscar Duran (Rosie), Alfredo Duran (Esther) and Roy Duran. He is also survived by relatives, nephews, nieces, cousins.
