He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo and Lydia (Barsch); his siblings, Maryella, Henry, Edwin, Robert, Weldon and Leon; his grandsons, Trey and Drew Simpson; and his sons-in-law, Mike Perry and Tim Reilly.
He is survived by: his son Hugo (Lenora); his wife Lenora (Smith); his children, Jerry, Jonathan Hemme, Judy Perry and Janice Reilly; his grandchildren, Scott Simpson (Alison), Dianna Peterson, Chris Perry and J. T. Perry; and his great grandchildren, Nate, Kurt Simpson, Cameron and Hannah Peterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
