With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Withers of Lockhart, Texas, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Gordon may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Withers (Raines) and Clayton Withers; his brother Nye Clark Withers; and his son Mark Gordon Withers. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Casteel Withers; his sister Nancy Gail Allen; his daughter Kari Amanda Withers; his stepchildren, Aaron Grant and Samantha Grant; and his grandchildren, Justin, Payton Fairchild and Brenna Withers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCurdy Funeral Home (105 E Pecan St, Lockhart, TX 78644).
