It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erland Alvin Burklund (Lockhart, Texas), born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burklund and Edith Burklund; his wife Nancy; his siblings, Ray Burklund (Barbara) and Gladys Wende (Tim); and his daughter-in-law Beverly Borchert Burklund.

He is survived by: his sons, Donald (Elsie) of Elgin, Eugene (Stacey) of Del Valle and Robby (Tish) of Buda; his grandchildren, Jon Burklund (Diane), Travis Burklund, Austin Burklund (Katie), Christopher Beason, Nicholas Beason (Ginny), Tex Burklund and Caroline Burklund; and his great grandchild Madison Burklund. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hays Hills Baptist Church, Buda, Texas.
