She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Karoline Schuetze Schaefer; her husband Bill Douglas Buckner (Doug); her father William Schaefer; and her brother Richard Herman. She is survived by: her children, Billy Ray Buckner (Karen), Debbie Pfefferkorn (Ray) of Lockhart and John Buckner (Joyce) of Luling; her grandchildren, Paul Buckner, Landon Buckner (Emily), Alex Pfefferkorn (Erin), Karoline Howard (Rusty), Chad Grantham, Cole Grantham, Amber Fletcher (Mike) and Todd Goucher (Kayla); her son Lodge; and also, Rosie Kirkwood and Buddy Pearson.
