He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Gonzales Sr. and Cleotilde Gonzales; and his brothers, Joe Cruz Gonzales and Albert Gonzales. He is survived by: his siblings, Luis Rafael (Margie Gonzales), Jose Angel (Janie Gonzales), Rudy (Esther Gonzales), Mary (Junior Longoria), Lilly Castillo, Sally Martinez, Delia (Eloy Abrego) and Linda (Leo Tamez); his children, Maria Christina (Nicolas Ongania), Graciela (Marcos Cantu), Michael Gonzales and Adam Anthony Ortiz (Samantha Barker); and his wife Mary Trelles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
