He was predeceased by: his parents, Amuel Wier Sr. and Myrtle Wier; his brother Mitchell Wier (Carol); and his brother-in-law James Briscoe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wier; his son Shane Wier (Kem); and his siblings, Gloria Briscoe, Susan Miller (Dennis), Gary Wier (Joan) and Joe Weir (Vicki). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
