He was predeceased by: his parents, William Austin Petersen Sr. and Lucille Maxine McChristie Petersen; his wife Marilyn; and his sisters, Maxine and Sally.
He is survived by: his sister Laura Maynard; his daughters, Lori E. Lafour and Christine R. Petersen; his son-in-law Amr; his son William A Petersen III (Bill); his daughter-in-law Natalie; his grandchildren, Tamara, Robert, Usamah, Ashton, Cameron, Triston, Allison, Aleigha and William IV (Austin); his stepgrandchild Brenton; his great grandchildren, Franky, Aaliyah, Houston, Penelope and Ryder; and his daughter Julianna Raveala.
Due to Covid, a Memorial service will be limited.
